Just want say what a great neighbor Stella was. I listened to her many stories of her childhood, her talking about her children and husband. She told me that every time Andy bought a new appliance, everyone was invited over for steak to celebrate. I asked her once why she never drove and she said she never had to, all she had to do was throw someone a few bucks and they would pick her up. Then she said when the kids got old enough, they drove her. She attributed her long life to intestine soup that her mom made during the depression. There was also the time she called me to tell me that she thought Sharon was dead upstairs, and to come over to check. The only thing that happened was that I scared the heck out of Sharon when I went in her room to wake her. That was a good laugh. I missed Stella so when she moved to Taylor. I would stop with cookies. She may not have remembered who I was sometimes, but she sure knew that I was the one bringing the cookies. May my dear friend being hugging God right at this moment.
