Bethany Morgan Burch

August 14, 1993 - February 5, 2022

Bethany Morgan Burch unexpectedly passed away on February 5, 2022 at the young age of 28 in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. Bethany was born August 14, 1993 to James and Shelia Burch at Saint Joseph Hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan. She lived the first 14 years of her life in Napoleon, Michigan and the next 14 years in North Carolina. Bethany graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from UNC Charlotte and worked as a Portfolio Management Associate with Wells Fargo in Charlotte, North Carolina. Bethany was enthusiastic early on in her life with ballet. She excelled at it for 11 years. As she had grown older, she continued that passion and applied it to everything she had ever accomplished. She had a true love for the outdoors and animals. Bethany shared her life with her boyfriend Kyle Beck, her two dogs Shadow and Jamie, and her cat Stella. She enjoyed baking, exploring the world, and spending time with friends and family. She grew up camping, kayaking, and enjoying bonfires with her family and friends. Bethany was a very good student as she loved school and loved to learn. As a child, she was active, imaginative, and inquisitive which led to her being a successful and career driven young woman. “Though she be little she is fierce” - Shakespeare Bethany shared her life with her boyfriend Kyle Beck, her two dogs Shadow and Jamie, and her cat Stella. She is preceded in death by her Paternal Great Grandmother, Rita Townsend, Maternal Grandmother, Edith Meade and Paternal Grandfather Thomas Burch. Bethany is survived by her parents James and Shelia Burch of Pocomoke City, Maryland; brother Tucker and wife Brooke Burch of Denver, Colorado; brother Brody Burch of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Paternal Grandmother Ruth Burch of Manchester, Michigan; special cousin Megan Sweetland of Mesa, Arizona; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be at 4:00 PM on Friday February 11, 2022 at the Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM-3:30 PM.
