Alice F. Lycos' Obituary
Age 75, of Jackson, passed away under the loving care of her family and the staff at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Willie Haynes and her sister, Fonda Kay Saumier. Alice is survived by her beloved family, her husband, Larry Lycos; son, Kenny Lycos (Ruthie Straub); grandson, Kenneth Michael (Pam) Lycos; granddaughter, Jennifer Lycos; five great-grandchildren, Tristen, Jayden, Robert, Braylen and Makayla, all of Jackson; four siblings, Lois Furlong of Jackson, Wanda (George) Dawson, Vernon (Inez) Haynes and Ross (Judy) Haynes, all of Tennessee; many nieces, nephews and friends. Alice was a beautician for many years at Pyciak's Style Salon and was a member of the Moose and International Order of Foresters. The greatest joys in her life were the times spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Services to honor her life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11:00 am with Reverend Bart Hall officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Alice's family would like to thank everyone at the Hospice Home for the compassionate care given to her during her stay at the facility.
