Alvin Charles Tase's Obituary
Alvin Charles Tase, 97, passed away July 18, 2022. He was born on February 22, 1925, in Napoleon, Michigan to Bentley and Lula (Walters) Tase. Alvin was one of the few remaining living WWII veterans. He joined the Army while in still high school to serve his country during the war. Alvin worked for many years at Standard Oil in Southfield, Michigan, working his way up to become an engineer. He was a long-time member of the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church and the American Legion Brooklyn Post. He also grew to enjoy the sport of golf.
Alvin will be missed by his children, Clara Bondie and Marie (Jack) Melling; grandchildren John Theodore Bondie, Amy Lynn Bondie, Cheri Ann Bondie, Alicia (Jason) Sperry, Michele Sue (Scottie) Williams, Pamela Elizabeth (Paul) Dickerson; great grandchildren Abigail (Tyler) Chilson, Allysa Waidelich, Cody (April) Waidelich, Casey (Deyalin) Waidelich, Chloe Bracey, John Bondie, Heather Santos, Tori Bondie, Cody Kincard, Faith (Michael) Anderson, Elizabeth Vanassche, Haley Sperry, Charlie Williams, Samuel Williams, Jack Dickerson, Sarah Dickerson; great-great-grandchildren Elayna Anderson and Nicholas Anderson. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings; his wife Florence May Wynn; his second wife Marian Delia Guitner; and his grandchildren Matthew and Christopher Waidelich.
