Amanda 'Mandi' Gail Stone's Obituary
v Stone, Amanda G., 'Mandi', age 35, of Norvell Township, passed away at University of Michigan Hospital March 18, 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Allison Stone, her parents, Norman E. and Janet M. Stone Sr., half sister, Dielynda (Joseph) Korany and half brother, Norman E. (Christine) Stone Jr. six nieces and nephews, Lauren, Joey, Sarah, Jennifer, Brian and Josh. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Mandi was a graduate of Napoleon High School Class of 1997, followed the Duodenal Switchboard on Facebook and had been an active volunteer at Napoleon Community Schools until illness prevented her from helping. Ms. Stone has been cremated. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, March 22, 2014, 11:00 am at the Norvell Community Baptist Church. Contributions in her memory are directed to an education fund being set up for her daughter, Allison or the University of Michigan Surgical Intensive Care Bereavement Fund, floor 5 D, 1500 E. Medical Center Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48109. The family wishes to thank the SIC staff, especially Terri Lynn, Alice, Rick and Cherri for their wonderful compassion and care.
