It’s difficult to find the words to express how heartbroken and shocked I am by Amber’s passing. I had the privilege of working alongside Amber for over twenty years, and her sharp intellect and strong personality always stood out. Whether she was tackling complex challenges, leading with confidence, or speaking up when something needed to be said, she never hesitated to do what was right.
As the years passed, our working relationship grew into a genuine friendship—one that I will always cherish. I still vividly recall our last dinner with friends just a couple of months ago: we hugged, shared laughter, and exchanged our “inside joke” that only the group of friends could appreciate. That was Amber—quick-witted, vibrant, and full of life.
I will miss her deeply. I’ll always carry the memories, the laughter with me.

Amber and I started our journey at McKesson around the same time, just two months apart. From the very beginning, her pure heart and contagious laugh made a lasting impression on me. She had a remarkable way of being there for people, always offering her support and kindness. One of the most touching moments I experienced with Amber was in 2020 when my son passed away. Despite living further away, she was one of the first people from work to reach out, offering her help in any way she could. I'll never forget the day she showed up at my door with a plant and a card from our co-workers. That thoughtful gesture meant the world to me, and it truly exemplified the kind of person Amber was. I was fortunate to travel with her for a work visit about 20 years ago, and during that time, we bonded even more. Her humor was unmatched and brought so much joy to those around her. One of our last conversations I joked about being un-biological siblings who trash-talked each other but loved one another. Our friendship and co-worker relationship were special because of that unique blend of humor and yet truly caring . Amber was one of those rare individuals who left a lasting mark on everyone she met through her kindness and humor. My sympathies go out to her family and friends during this difficult time. The world will undoubtedly be a dimmer place without her bright light, but her legacy will live on through the countless stories we will share about the impact she made in our lives. She is truly unforgettable

I worked with Amber for a number of years and grieve for her passing. She was extremely positive, a wonderful story teller and someone who was always direct but in a kind way. You always knew where you stood with her. She was a remarkable soul and I will sorely miss her.

I worked with Amber at McKesson - Amber brought so much knowledge and positivity to every project. She was open-minded, collaborative, and always made work feel enjoyable. I’ll always remember our conversations about her dog Oliver and the fun time we had when she came to Pittsburgh—dinner, games, and stories about her adventures. Amber was not only a great colleague but a wonderful person.
