Andrew Patrick Laughlin's Obituary
Andrew Patrick Laughlin, age 43, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away suddenly on November 25, 2022. He was born on September 3, 1979 in Jackson, Michigan to David and Frances (Dzikowicz) Laughlin. In addition to his parents, Andy is survived by his two sons, Aarron Patrick Laughlin and Austin Richard Laughlin; two sisters, Shannon Corbin of Eagle, Colorado and Alicia (Rock) Soles of Pleasant Lake; and a brother, Patrick Laughlin (Tanya Isom) of Jackson. He is also survived by his very special friend, Sandra Barrus, who he always said was his “guardian angel”, and Amy Laughlin Stiles (Mark Taylor). Andy has five nieces and nephews: Charlotte and Evan Corbin, Grant, Grayson and Gabriella Soles.
Andy graduated from East Jackson High School in 1998 and was an excellent concrete finisher who would proudly point out the many sidewalks, steps, garage floors, patios and driveways that he poured throughout the area, working for several different companies. Hunting, fishing, hiking, biking and camping were some of his favorite activities. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or share whatever he had with anyone in need. Andy had a kind heart and a great smile, that will be missed more than he could ever know.
Andy’s family and friends will gather Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a rosary to begin at 7:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (formerly Arthur Day Funeral Home). His funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am on Friday, December 9, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church following visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Fr. Tim Nelson will serve as celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Vincent de Paul at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
