Andrew "Drew" Samon's Obituary
Andrew Martin Samon, 23, from Michigan Center, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022. Drew’s family and friends will gather Monday, November 21, 2022 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (formerly Arthur Day Funeral Home). His funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 11:00 am following visitation from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima, in Michigan Center. Fr. Satheesh Alphonse SdC will serve as celebrant.
He was born October 11, 1999 in Jackson, Michigan to Jeff Samon and Linda (Soltis) Samon. He will be remembered as a very caring person that would do anything for anyone. Drew loved his family and friends, was a hard worker yet enjoyed the simple life. He enjoyed fishing, even taking a fishing trip by plane. Drew was very down to earth, a graduate of Michigan Center High School in 2018, was raised in Catholic faith and looked forward to his family vacations in Florida during his youth. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Drew is survived by his mother, Linda Samon and his father, Jeff Samon; siblings, Dylan Samon, Joseph Samon and JenaRosa Samon; maternal grandparents, John and Barbara Soltis; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jerry and Mary Samon.
