Angie Marie Houtz's Obituary
Age 59, of Jackson, passed away at University of Michigan Hospitals September 19, 2017 as a result of a tragic fire at her residence. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Bryon G., three sons, Derreck Edward (Tina) Houtz, Justin Allen (Kacie) Houtz and Alexander James (Taylor) Houtz, eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of 'stray and adopted' children. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Philip W. Swihart Jr. and Scott Edward Swihart and her parents, Philip W Swihart and Rose C. (maiden-Seidon) Swihart Sr. Angie was a 1979 graduate of Columbia Central High School and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. A Celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. Contributions in her memory are directed to her family as they strive to pick up the pieces of their lives.
