Anita Doris Miller's Obituary
Age 89, of Michigan Center, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Allegiance Hospice Home. She was born at Vandercook Lake on December 1, 1925 to Glen and Katherine (Bollinger) Sowle. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Miller in 1994; daughter-in-law, Connie Miller in 2005 and great-grandson, Baby Ty Knauff. She is survived by her beloved family, three children, Bob (Trish) Miller, Peggy (Robert) Hughes and Tim (Julie) Miller; six grandchildren, Troy (Carla) Miller, Lisa (Kirk) Richards, Amy (Tyrone) Knauff, Kiley (Dave) Brown, Casey Hays and Scott (Andrea) Miller; two step-grandchildren, Corinna (Pat) Conley and Casey (Kyleen) Calkins; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many good friends too numerous to list but certainly not forgotten. Anita loved to travel with her many friends from the Boos Center; a special thank you to Cathy Voss and Gen Brannick for making that possible the last couple of years. The family also wishes to thank all of those who cared for Anita during her last illness, especially Dr. Carr and Nurse Saddi at the Cardiac Care Unit at Allegiance Health. As was her request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
