Anna Mae Bailey's Obituary
Age 68, of Jackson, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at her home under the loving care of her family and Arbor Hospice. She was born in Oak Hill, WV to Christopher C. and Mildred D. (Ingram) Canterbury on November 5, 1948. "Flip" was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wayne Bailey in 2009 and her father, Christopher Canterbury. Anna is survived by her beloved family of four children, Shannon (Chris) Casad of Napoleon, Robert (Heidie) Bailey, Ryan (Jessica) Bailey and Kara (Chris) Brainard, all of Jackson; 13 grandchildren, Britney, Christopher, Cody, Robert Jr., Nicholas, Megan, Kelsey, Taylor, Peyton, Bailey, Christopher, Mason and Logan; three great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Madalyn and Brooklyn; her mother, Mildred Canterbury; three siblings, Steven, Christina and Brian Canterbury. Anna worked at Chelsea Hospital as an office manager and at Great Lakes Caring as an intake coordinator. She was a very loving mother and grandmother; enjoyed painting, crocheting, taking trips and dancing at the Crouch Center. Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm with the Reverend Michael Mason officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Napoleon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. For those who wish, contributions in Anna's memory to the American Liver Foundation, Great Lakes Division, 20 W. Many in Anna's family helped with care needed in her failing health, but they would especially like to thank Elizabeth, Tina and Aunt Kathy for their special care.
