Anthony Allen Robison, 69, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at home with his loving family by his side. Tony’s family and friends will gather Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Michigan Center Bible Church. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 12:00 pm following visitation from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at Michigan Center Bible Church, 150 Broad Street, Michigan Center. Pastor Jonathan Grella will co-officiate with Pastor Ned Bernstein.
He was born on September 26, 1956, in Adrian, Michigan to Herbert and Patricia (Foster) Robison. Tony married the love of his life, Denise Douglas, on April 15, 1977 in Adrian, Michigan. They had 48 wonderful years together, until his passing. He will be remembered as being an avid outdoorsman, hunting and fishing. You could always find Tony in the garage, working on a project. He was a very active man that was incredibly helpful to his family both emotionally and in labor support. Tony was a member of the Michigan Center Bible Church for many years and he retired after 30 years from Columbia School District. He also helped with his daughter and son-in-law’s family farm and septic tank cleaning business when possible. Tony and Denise had a cabin up north in the Houghton Lake area that allowed them to enjoy their time with snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, sand rail, and later their mopeds. They also spent several years of attending classic car shows at the Root beer Depot in Brooklyn. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Tony is survived by his loving wife, Denise; his children, Kristine Carpenter and Ryan Robison; siblings, John Robison and Cheri Fox; grandchildren Emily (John) McNeil, Kayla Carpenter, Luke (Kelsey) Carpenter, Ellie Carpenter, Becca Carpenter, Leah Carpenter and Caitlyn Robison; great grandchildren Harper, Keith, Adaline, Alaina and Noah; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Patricia; brothers, Gary Robison, Joe Robison and sister, Julie Boss; and son-in-law, Kurt Carpenter.
