Arlen Herbert Wells' Obituary
Age 78, of Michigan Center, passed away at the Veterans Administration Hospital, Ann Arbor September 21, 2015. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda L. Wells, four children, Wayne (Robin) Wells, Joe (Donita) Wells, Bryan (Cheryl) Wells, Kathryn Wells and 'adopted' daughter, Deborah (Thomas) Griffin, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Jean Nelson, Darlene Wells and Kay Lacy, his parents, father Herbert Wells, mother Almina Wells-Voyles and stepfather Samuel Voyles. Arlen served the nation in the US Navy and was a hard working man who strove to give his family the best life had to offer. Mr. Wells has been cremated. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at the funeral home Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 2:30 pm with Rev. Richard Brooks officiating. Military Honors will be given by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Jackson Veterans Office Van Fund.
