Arlene Ann Shepherd's Obituary
Arlene Ann Shepherd, 88, from Jackson, MI, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Henry Ford Hospital. Arlene’s family and friends will gather from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church: 1111 Carlton Blvd, Jackson, MI 49203. Her funeral mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Fr. Tim MacDonald will serve as celebrant.
She was born on January 28, 1937, in Jackson, MI, to George and Mildred (Stello) Stanley. Arlene graduate from Jackson High School in 1955. She worked many years as a manager in the food service industry. Arlene was a devoted mother to her 8 children and was a strong Catholic. Throughout her life time, she would give back to her community through Christ, by volunteering at St. Vincent De Paul, Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and other various opportunities she came across. In her younger years, Arlene also volunteered for the Cub Scouts. She enjoyed playing games, especially cards, with anyone who would play. Arlene will be remembered as a loving, dedicated mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great, great grandmother. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Arlene will be missed by her children, John Shepherd, Joseph Shepherd, Andrea (Kevin) Ramsett, William Shepherd, Jennifer (Donnie) Clark, Scott (Teri) Shepherd and Cassondra (Don) Bernstein; her grandchildren, John (Sarah) Shepherd, Christina Shepherd, Mitchell Shepherd, Cody Shepherd, Ashley Shepherd, Matthew Ramsett, Keith Ramsett, Mark Ramsett, Bailey (Jack) Tallman, Kristopher (Ashley) Shepherd, Kameron Shepherd, Jacob Moringstar, Jinnie (Jason) Morgan, Laci Buckowing, Rylee Renfer, Logan Renfer, Brianna Berstein, Brendon Berstein and Colton Bernstein; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great, great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mildred Stanley; her brother, Joseph Stanley; and her son, Arthur Shepherd.
