Arthur E Wuckert's Obituary
Wuckert, Arthur E. Age 90, of Jackson, went to walk with the Lord Jesus September 25, 2012, at the Legacy Assisted Living Center. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Esther L.; four children, Carol (John) Tribble, Beverly (Charl) Greene, Steven (Connie) Wuckert and Marcia Paul. Arthur has seven grandchildren: Heather Cummings (Scott Furnas-fiancAC.), Adam (Kate) Greene, Joel (Sarah) Greene, Lindsey (George) Schweitzer, Shelley Greene, Laura Paul, Ryan (Amanda) Paul; and four great-grandchildren: Noah, Aaron, Madelyn, and Evelyn. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, and a geologist who retired from Consumers Power after 25 years service. He belonged to the Jackson Shriners and the Michigan Destroyer Escort Sailors Association. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, 4425 South Jackson Road, where a Memorial Service honoring his life will be held Saturday, October 27, 2012 with the Rev. Travis Wilson officiating. Family will greet guests at 10:00am with service following at 10:30. Interment of cremains will follow in the Church Columbarium. Contributions in his memory are directed to the church.
