Avis Ann Campbell's Obituary
Age 81, a longtime resident of Napoleon, joined the Lord December 20, 2019 at her home under the loving care of her friends, family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. She is survived by two daughters; Trina (Scott) Fisher and Gretchen (David) Witbeck, grandchildren; Socha (Taylor) Goyett and Hayden M. Witbeck, her sisters; Alyce (George) Conrad and Gale Sydow and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; James 'Jim Bob' Campbell, daughter; Sheree Canida, siblings; Juanita, Willis, Arlayne, Rachel, Helen, Ershel, Herma, Stanley, Max and Robert and her parents; William H. and Mildred I (maiden-Cease) Boettger.
She was loved by the community and an active participant in her church and local events. She was a firm believer in nurturing the earth and enjoyed gardening and communing with nature on a daily basis. She was a local fixture with her vigorous daily walks touring the town. Mrs. Campbell has been cremated.
A gathering to celebrate her life and share memories will be held at the funeral home Sunday, December 29, 2019 from 1pm until 4pm with words of encouragement from Mr. Huey Swager at 3:30 pm. Her cremated remains will be interred on the grounds of her grandfather's farm in Northern Michigan at a later date.
