Barbara Ann Chinchak's Obituary
Barbara Ann Chinchak, age 73, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2023. She was born on January 7, 1950, in Wyandotte, Michigan. She married the love of her life, Francis Joseph Chinchak II on January 20, 1968, and spent more than 53 years happily married. She will be remembered as the biggest cheerleader for her family and all of their endeavors. Barbara lived her life for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, enjoying every moment she spent with them. She was also known in her family to be a Crime Show Junkie. In her spare time, she was a talented quilter, giving quilts to those she loved most. Barbara also was a very active and faithful member of the Michigan Center Eagle’s. During the winter months, Barbara gave being a snowbird a whole new meaning by spending more than 20 winters in Cancun loving the sun and ocean, and of course the occasional beer on the beach.
Barbara will be missed by her children, Angela (Cory) Chinchak and Francis “Joe” (Shelly) Chinchak III; siblings; Charles Corder, Ruby Ursiny, Richard “Doc” Corder, George (Denise) Corder, Virginia (Phil) Jones, Charlotte (Paul) Stafford, Wanda Corder, Carol (John) McKenzie, Grandchildren; Steven (Bailey) Chinchak, Daniel (Georgia) Chinchak, Ryan (Kayla) Finstrom, Sierra (John) Finstrom, Tyler Finstrom, great grandchildren; Damean Chinchak, Steven Chinchak Jr., Samantha Chinchak, Christian Coleman, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Francis Chinchak II, her parents, her brother and sister in-law, James and Betty Corder, sister Charlotte Stafford and brother-in-law, Tom Ursiny
