Barbara Jean French's Obituary
Age 86, of Michigan Center, passed away at her home March 5, 2017 surrounded by her loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and under the care of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. She is survived by three children, James (Becky) French of East Tawas, Elaine (Kent) Hoaglin of Albion and Marianne (Tom) Rauh of Jackson; twelve grandchildren; twenty four great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" French in 2011; sister, Dottie Licking; four brothers, Mowrey, Floyd, Fred and Infant George Pierce; parents, Mowrey and Zelda (Bowser) Pierce. She enjoyed the family cottage in Baldwin and spent much time travelling with her husband to his engagements with a Country Band. Mrs. French has been cremated. Private services and interment with her late husband in Norvell Cemetery will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice for their wonderful care and directs any memorial contributions in Barbara's honor be made to them.
