Barbara Ann VanEpps, 82, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away under the care of her family and Dimondale Nursing Care Center, November 23, 2025. Barbara’s family and friends will gather 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Monday December 1, 2025, and 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Tuesday December 2, 2025 at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday December 2, 2025, Eineder Funeral Homes, Michigan Center Chapel. Pastor Henry Woods will serve as celebrant.
Barbara was born on November 17. 1943, in Jackson, Michigan to Howard and Evelyn (Joslin) Lewis. Barbara married the love of her life, Loren VanEpps, on May 13, 1968, in Jackson, Michigan. They had many wonderful years together until his passing in 1987. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed many hobbies, such as reading, walking and gardening. But most all she found great joy spending time with her family.
Barbara will be greatly missed by her children, Lee (Becky) VanEpps, Larry VanEpps, Mike VanEpps and Dietra VanEpps; grandchildren, Kelsey (Tyler) Gibson, Donald (Lexi) VanEpps, Michelle (JJ) VanEpps, Michael VanEpps, Steven VanEpps; several great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Neely, Penny (Paul) Blossom , Butch Lewis and Tim(Rhoda) Lewis; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Loren, her parents, Howard and Evelyn, her brother William Lewis, sister, Janet Carl and brother-in-law, Al Neely.
