Bekie Jo McAnally's Obituary
Bekie Jo McAnally, 49, of Adrian passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side, Thursday, March 28, 2024, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Bekie’s family and friends will gather Thursday, April 4, 2024, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am at the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church – Brooklyn. Her funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 am. Reverend Dennis Ladd will serve as celebrant.
She was born on November 28, 1974, in Adrian, Michigan to Earl and Karlene (Miller) McAnally. She will be remembered as a selfless person with a heart full of love. Bekie has a vast collection of porcelain dolls. She enjoyed camping with her family and according to them is the “Best southern Cook” in the United States. She loved the outdoors, riding her ATV and practicing her marksmanship. Bekie had a great sense of humor and often spoke her mind. Her favorite saying was “Git R Done”. Most of all, Bekie cherished her time with her family. She will greatly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Bekie is survived by her sons, Paul Bettinger and Dakota Bettinger; her mother, Karlene McAnally; significant other, Jimmy Terrell; siblings, Bonnie (Jefferson) Cooke and Bobby (Marlene Sanders) McAnally; aunts, Robin North, Faye Vincent and Mart; grandchildren, Ember, Tritan, Noah and Vivi; and a handful of cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Earl McAnally.
