Belva Ianthe ""Tootie"" Karasek's Obituary
Age 75, of Michigan Center, passed away peacefully February 19, 2015 at home with loved ones at her side. She was born January 1, 1940 in Mercy Hospital to her parents, who precede her in death, Elwood and Maribel (Maiden-Davisson) Watson. Tootie loved family vacations with her children and grandchildren at her trailer in South Haven, Michigan. She also enjoyed Gardening and spending time on the raft on Michigan Center Lake in the summer with her family. Tootie will be remembered by her loved ones as an incredible loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Despite many health conditions throughout her entire life Tootie constantly radiated the love of the Living God residing in her heart to all that came into her presence. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. Tootie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronald and three children, Becky (Jeff) Dunn, Kim (Tom) Midena and John (Noelle) Karasek, two sisters, Jennifer Watson of Jackson and Ann Mae (Bob) Smart of Florida, eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 11 am with Father Tim MacDonald officiating. Interment Woodland Cemetery, Summit Township. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday 2-4 & 6-8 pm and on Tuesday morning 10 am until 10:45. Rosary Service Monday evening 7:30 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Fatima Building Fund.
