Bernard V ""Bernie"" Molton's Obituary
Age 74, lifelong resident of Michigan Center, passed away May 20, 2015 at his daughter's home under the loving care of the Branham family. He is survived by four children, Debbie (Ralph) Branham, Susan Molton, Brent (Caryl) Molton and Troy Molton six grandchildren; Brian (Allison Cormany), Kelsea (Rory Glaspie) and Maegan Branham, Joshua (Justine), Blaize and Giada Molton , great-grand daughter, Maddie Molton, one brother, Benjamin (Tracy) Molton, several nieces and nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva E. Buczek, step-father John Buczek, father Benjamin V. Molton, and two sisters, Patricia Molton and Sandy Carter-Donahee, brother Tom Molton and his wife Jeannie. He was a retiree of General Motors, served the nation in the US Navy and a member of the American Legion Rose City Post, former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie#3634 and Napoleon Lodge #301, Free and Accepted Masons. He devoted much time of himself helping Bill W's followers and was a very proud supporter of his grandchildren's sports activities at MCHS and in college, faithfully attending their games. Bernie had served on the Board of Directors of the Cascades Community and Educator's Credit Union for many years. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 11 am with Father Tim MacDonald officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday evening 5-8 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:30 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Fatima Building Fund. Military honors will be rendered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team.
