Betty Jane Bristow's Obituary
Age 84, of Leoni Township, passed away at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility December 25, 2014. She is survived by two sons; Dennis (Denise) and Douglas (Delores) Bristow, seven grandchildren; Dennis (Melissa) Bristow Jr., Wendy (Kevin) Sims, Danielle Bristow, Deanna Bristow, Craig Bristow , Drew Bristow Jr., and Ashlie (Alex) Bartholomew, nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, Sue (Gary) Wright and Karen (Ray) Bristow, brother Darrell (Sheryl) Durham, sister-in law Mary Ellen Smith, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Wirt D. Bristow Jr., two sons; Dale and Drew Bristow, brother Harold 'Kouch' Smith, sisters; Pat Pond and Nancy Bromley and her parents, George and Lovenia Smith. She loved spending time working in her garden and yard, enjoyed drawing and arts and crafts. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 11 am with Pastor Jerry Bailey officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday, 5-8 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to the American Cancer Society.
