Betty Lou Carr, 75, of Brooklyn, Michigan, passed away on June 8, 2026.
A celebration of Betty’s life will be held at a later date.
Betty was born on October 11, 1950 in Rector, Arkansas, to Paul and Lou (Eagle) McClung. Betty married the love of her life, Keith, on April 3, 1981 in Jackson, Michigan. She will be remembered as an avid sports enthusiast who participated in many sports including, softball, bowling and darts. She also loved traveling, camping and spending time at their cabin up north in Cadillac.
Betty will be greatly missed by her husband, Keith, of 45 years; her children, Kelli (John Carrick) Partin, Timothy (Brandy) Strassburg, Kathy (Rusty) Sanford; grandchildren, Samantha, Bobby, Tim, Jeff, Josh and Fred; special niece, Crysta Brown. She is preceded in death by her son, Fred; her parents, Paul and Lou McClung; her sisters, Patricia and Doris; and brothers, Paul and Bob.
