Betty Jo Henderson's Obituary
Age 76, of Waterloo Township, passed away at her home in the loving presence of her family and under the care of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. She is survived by her two sons; David (Peggy) Henderson and Steven Henderson, six grandchildren; Stephanie Henderson, Anthony Henderson, Stephen Henderson, Dominick Henderson, Alan Henderson and Luke Henderson, her significant other; Herschel Dove, brothers; Art (Sharon) Thompson and Floyd Jude Jr., and sister; Alice (Jimmy) Sudduth. She was preceded in death by her parents; Larce and Rebecca (maiden-Chafin) Thompson Sr., and her brother Lance Thompson Jr. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed collecting antiques, working in her flower garden and loved her canine companions. She was a long time employee of the Bakery at Krogers. Services will be held at the Faith Baptist Church, 4030 Kalmbach Road, Chelsea on Monday, June 29, 2020 at noon with Pastor M. Adam Summers officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Napoleon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening 6-8 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to the American Cancer Society.
