Betty Jean Howell's Obituary
Age 72, of Leoni Township, passed away February 11, 2016 at the Allegiance Hospice Home. She is survived by five sons, Eric, Richard (Carol), Lewis, Glen and Steven Howell; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Wells and Sharon Day; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Henry; brother, Carl Schwartzwalder and her parents, Melvin and Augusta (maiden-Myerholtz) Schwartzwalder. Betty retired from Meijer. She was a giving caring soul who was "Mom" to every stray in the neighborhood and raised five sons on her own. She loved the times she spent on outings with her sister Linda. Cremation has taken place and no public services will be held. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
