Betty L Sibson's Obituary
SIBSON, BETTY L. Age 89, of Jackson, passed away at Heartland Healthcare Center on Monday, March 25, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Carl in 2001; one sister and two brothers. Betty is survived by her four children, Barbara Hurd of Jackson, William (Barbara) Sibson of Florida, Thomas (Betty) Sibson and Richard (Maria) Sibson, both of Jackson; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Jackson High School and a 1945 graduate of the W.A. Foote School of Nursing after which she worked as a Registered Nurse at Foote Hospital until retirement. Betty was a member of the Golden Wedding Club and Cherished Teddy's Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, crocheting, needlepoint, golfing, traveling and her poodle doggies. Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 1:30 pm with Pastor Scott England officiating. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:30 pm until service time. For those who wish, contributions in Betty's memory may be directed to the Jackson Friendly Home, Heartland Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
