Betty Ann Weimer's Obituary
Weimer, Betty Ann Age 92, of Leoni Township, passed away August 19, 2014 at Allegiance Health. She is survived by three children, James Lewis Weimer, Daniel Ray (Theresa) Weimer and Mary Joyce (Brad) Clark, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sister Joyce Borden and brother Tom (Donna) Wilfong. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold O., two sons, Robert and Thomas P. Weimer, parents, Ernest T. and Mary (maiden-Brinn) Wilfong, and four siblings, Francis Wilfong, Eileen Jawson, Mary Wilfong and Ray Wilfong. She was the Valedictorian of the Powers (Michigan) High School class of 1939, operated DR Electric with her late husband in the Jackson Area for many years, later she worked as a bookkeeper at City Electric and Eastgate Apothecary and enjoyed a talent for oil painting. Betty was a charter member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 11 am with Father Tim McDonald officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday, 5-8 pm and at the church one hour prior to services. Recitation of the Rosary Friday evening at 7:00 pm. Private Interment at St. Johns Cemetery. Contributions in her memory are directed to Fatima Church.
