Beverly Ann Brzozowski's Obituary
Beverly Ann Brzozowski of Brooklyn passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 19, 2026, with her loving family by her side. Beverly was born in Jackson MI as the first child to Richard and Goldie (Nimmo) Chamberlain on March 1, 1938. She recalls many fond memories of living on Robinson Street in her earlier years, later graduating from Jackson High School in the Class of 1956. She met her husband Richard at a dance, and later married him on October 15th, 1960. They moved to Clarklake where they raised four children together. She and Richard moved back and forth from New Smyrna Beach, Florida, where she enjoyed sun worshipping with her abundance of Hawaiian Tropic tanning oil on the beach. Eventually, they moved back to Brooklyn where Richard built them a home closer to family, and a swimming pool to replace her beach. Anyone who visited the pair could feel the tangibility of her hobbies, as she took everyone on an annual flower tour or pointed out the birds nesting in houses her husband built for her. She enjoyed a career in phlebotomy for many years at Foote Hospital and Garcia Laboratory until her retirement. Everyone who knew Bev, knew she never met a soul she didn’t want to feed. Her love of cooking was shared through numerous family gatherings, and pool parties. On Thanksgiving, she was a force to be reckoned with, baking at least 8 pies, and waking up at 4 am to start the turkey. Beverly was also lovingly referred to as “Gracie” by her husband when she was feisty or clumsy. Though we her loving family may try, we know her personality, her love, and her free-willed spirit are too much to contain to one page. Bev is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Richard; her children, Debra Clevenger, Sherrie (Erick) Johnson, Rich (Deborah) Brzozowski and Laurie (Russ) Rudd; siblings, Dick (Pat) Chamberlain, Valerie Hoyt and Susan Psychas; grandchildren, Kelcey (Jake) Robinson, Derek (Nichelle) Johnson, Segrid (Beau) Hendrick, Chad (Tara) Brzozowski, Todd (Belisa) Brzozowski, James Brzozowski, Lucas (Ariel) Rudd and Rachel Rudd-Williams; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by some of her wonderful lifelong friends, Linda Schweda, Bobbie Kurutz and Joyce Henley. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Goldie, and son-in-law, David Clevenger. Bev’s family and friends will gather Monday, March 23, 2026 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Eineder Funeral Homes – Brooklyn Chapel. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM with the burial to follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery. Deacon Chris Vida will serve as celebrant. As Beverly loved flowers, bright colors, and sunshine, please feel free to honor her memory by wearing bright colors as you attend her celebration of life. Please leave a message of comfort for Bev’s family or sign her guestbook at https://www.EinederFuneralHomes.com. We would also like to thank the staff of Jackson County Medical Care Facility for their kindness, love, and dedication to caring for our family as if they were their own.
