Blanche M. Jones' Obituary
Age 77, of Michigan Center, passed away at her home under the loving care of her family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. She was born in Jackson to Miles Milton and Florence Mae (Kipp) Medley. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, William Medley and Michael Medley who was Killed In Action in Vietnam. Blanche is survived by her husband of 53 years, Theron A. Jones, Sr.; three children, Kathleen (Gary) DuBois, Terri (Willard) Dermyer and Theron "TJ" Jones, Jr.; "extended" children, Dan (Jenny) Iveson; former daughter-in-law, Brenda Lang; eight grandchildren, Ginjer (Chris) Thurber, Austin Iveson, Christian Dermyer, Michaela Dermyer, Tyler Iveson, Madison Iveson, Alicia Miller and Nicole Jones; four brothers, Patrick (Valerie) Medley, David (Jeanne) Medley, Timothy (Mary) Medley and Terrance (Patricia) Medley Sr.; nieces, nephews and many good friends. Blanche worked as a paraprofessional with the Michigan Center Schools. She and her husband enjoyed traveling and camping. She was a member of the Jackson Baptist Church and the Good Sam Travel Club. Blanche was a former State Trustee with the Fraternal Order of Police, Girl Scout and Brownie Leader and with her husband Theron was Michigan Center Schools P.T.A. Co-Vice President. A public Memorial Service and Memorial Visitation will be held at the funeral home after the current restrictions. Private Interment at Roseland Memorial Gardens.
