Bobby J Ackley Sr.'s Obituary
Age 79, of Jackson, passed away October 22, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. He is survived by his wife of 59 years; Lola Jean (maiden-Young) Ackley, four children; Candy Ackley, Bobby (Kelly) Ackley Jr., Randy (Vicki) Ackley and Michael (Linda) Ackley, grandchildren; Holly Ackley, Shannon Ackley, Bobby J. Ackley III, Kimberly Ackley, David (Linda) O'Neill, Chris (Beth) O'Neill, Kelsey (Nick) Tompkins and Paul O'Neill and great-grandchildren; Amanda and Kyle Cooley, Levi Tompkins and Ayden O'Neill. He was preceded in death by his sister; Betty Sturgill, brother; Bill Ackley and his mother; Ella May (maiden-Hammel) Ackley. Bobby served the nation in the US Army, had worked at the City of Jackson, State Department of Corrections and went on to work as a Dietary Supervisor with Henry Ford Allegiance Health for many years until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed any times he could spend with his beloved wife and family. Cremation has taken place and no public services will be held.
