Bobby Earl Mowery's Obituary
Mowery, Bobby E. Age 82, of Leoni Township, passed away October 17, 2014 at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, E. Joyce, five children, Debra (Jimmy) Littrell, Janet (Ronald) Kerr, Pamela (Mark) Crane, Michael (Janette) Mowery and Karen (Michael) Furman, son-in-law, Ronald Spengler, sixteen grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Betty Daniels and Jeannie (George) Kleis, sister-in-law Mary Mowery. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Booth, brother Wayne Mowery, three sisters, Evelyn Coffman, Maxine Kutch, Marilyn Daniels and his parents, Gerry Lester and Florence Marie (maiden-Blue) Mowery. He was a retired District Manager for Progressive Oil, an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Harmony Baptist Church. Services will be held at the funeral home Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11 am with Pastor Rod Walker officiating. Interment Maxon Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home Sunday 6-8 pm. Graveside Military Honors will be offered by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Contributions in his memory are directed to the Cascades Humane Society. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility for their compassionate care of our loved one.
