Bondy E. Dean's Obituary
Age 68, of Jackson, passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance Health on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jay W. and Bernice B. (Schigur) Dean and mother and father in-law, Marilyn and Duane Marsh. Bondy is survived by his beloved family, his wife of 47 years, Linda M. (Marsh); son, Kelly (Stacey) Dean of Middlebury, IN; daughter, Kimberly Dean of Jackson; granddaughter and apple of his eye, Jasmine Faith Dean; siblings, Helen (Thomas) Prescott, Jay Dean II and Anna Hudson; nieces and nephews, Daniel (Mary) and Lindsay Prescott, Jeffrey Dean, Elizabeth (Michael) Zantello, Kristina and John Hudson; aunts; uncles and cousins. He was a 1967 graduate of Napoleon High School and a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in Vietnam. Bondy was a longtime barber in Michigan Center, the owner of Dean's Barber Shop; was a member of the Michigan Center Lions Club and Michigan Center Euchre Club. He was a youth little league coach, enjoyed fishing and hunting; was an avid golfer, playing in leagues at Pine Hollow and at the Farms in Bellaire. Bondy and Linda truly enjoyed spending time at Lake Bellaire. He was a Charter Member of Christ Lutheran Church, 4250 Page Avenue in Michigan Center, where services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 11:00 am with Pastor Ryan Prondzinski officiating. Interment Leoni Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10 am until service time and at the church on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm with a Lions Memorial Service at 7:30 pm. Graveside Military Honors will be presented by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. For those who wish, contributions in Bondy's memory to the Michigan Center Lions Club, P.O.
