Bonnie Mae Pawson, 75, of Jackson, Michigan passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital. Bonnie’s family and friends will gather from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025 and from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel. The Reverends Aaron and Daniel Strouss will serve as celebrants. Internment to take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Jackson, Michigan.
She was born on December 11, 1950, in Jackson, Michigan to Albert and Betty (Lafountain) Messner. Bonnie married the love of her life, Ricky Pawson, on March 17, 1979, in Jackson, Michigan and they spent many happy years together. In her free time, Bonnie enjoyed Sudoku, computer games, and magazine shopping. She also took up crocheting for a time. But most of all, Bonnie loved her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bonnie will be remembered as loving mother, grandma, and great-grandma.
Bonnie will be missed by her children, Timothy John (Shaun) Messner, Marie (David) Lennox, and Lori (Norm) Iler; brother, Harry (Sherry) Messner; grandchildren, Timmy, Tami, April, Rickie, Raymond, Ashley, Travis and Tyler; many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Pawson; parents, Albert and Betty Messner; sister, Joyce; and brother, Butch.
