Brandon David Chambers' Obituary
Age 18, of Grass Lake, passed away in a tragic swimming accident September 6, 2020 in Lake Michigan. He is the beloved son of Crystal Marie LeDuke and Andrew Keith Chambers, brother of Thomas and Katelynn Elkins and Dustin and Tyler Chambers, grandson of Sue Chambers and Frank LeDuke, nephew of Christy (Dan Stevens) Chambers and had many cousins. He was preceded in death by his uncle Trevor Chambers, grandfather David Chambers and grandmother Yvonne McKenzie. Brandon graduated from Ackerson Lake High School Class of 2020. He was an accomplished water skier and musician, playing the guitar and bass guitar in a garage band. He had an engaging smile and a very free spirit. He was a dedicated friend to the foursome, now a trio, that made up his band. Brandon was a loving person who cared for everybody, especially the downtrodden. He was a warrior for any than needed one. A true hero. Brandon has been cremated. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Ackerson Lake School (4126 Brooklyn Road) Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 1 to 5 pm. At 2 pm there will be a Memorial and Time of Sharing with Pastor Larry Rubingh officiating. Guests are requested to wear masks and maintain social distancing. Those who wish may make a contribution to honor his memory to his family.
