Brandon Anthony Lakomowski at age 30, went to be with the Lord on August 28th, 2022. He was born on March 31st, 1992, in Jackson Michigan. Brandon graduated from Northwest High School, attended Baker College. He was a personal trainer and loved to work out at the YMCA.
He is survived by his parents Michael Lakomowski and Tina (Nat) Gross. Brothers Mike (Ashley) Lakomowski and Jarame (Jaimie) Turner. Grandparents, Jeff/Dianne Weems and Nancy/Barry Rudd, uncles, Rob Weems, and Joey (Carrie) Weems along with many cousins, especially Alan Lillie-Weems. He had many close friends that he called family. Preceded in death by his grandmother Janina Lakomowski.
Brandon loved his family and friends they were number one in his life. He was a loving son, brother and friend to many. He was the glue that bonded so many people together. Brandon's smile, laughter and silly jokes brought an incredible amount of joy to others. Quiet, calm and respectful at the surface level. Dive deeper and you would soon discover he is consumed with determination, resilience, love, kindness and a loyalty like no other.
His specialty: Taking you to laughter where you're gasping for breath, cheeks drowned in tears, laughing absolutely uncontrollable.
All while astonished at the story or adventure; he took you through to get you there. He was truly a blessed gift.
After he battled a torturous war with mental illness, we are shattered with grief yet joyous to know Brandon is no longer suffering.
Bold and devout in his faith. Chasing down God relentlessly in pursuit of his love and healing. Praising Jesus in the midst of his suffering. The more mental anguish he endured, the louder he praised God.
A celebration for Brandon's Life will be held in October his favorite time of the year he loved the Michigan fall colors, football, Halloween and flannel shirts. In memory of Brandon and support of his two favorite places, memorial contributions may be made to St Mary Star of the Sea Parish of Jackson (www.stmaryjackson.com) or the Jackson YMCA (www.jacksonymca.org).
