Brian Bedore's Obituary
Brian Bedore, age 74, of Rives Junction, passed away at home under the loving care of his family and Promedica Hospice on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. He was born in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Joseph and Francis (Hudnutt) Bedore and they preceded in his death. Brian is survived by his beloved family, daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Andrew Dexter of Rapid City, Michigan, his son Joseph Bedore of Spring Arbor, grandchildren, Scarlett and Miles Dexter, exchange students and honorary children, Steven Gibert of France and Olivia Krasuski of Germany, 2 brothers, Dan Bedore and Nathan (Sonia) Bedore, 2 sisters, Joyce Marie Bedore and Julie (Paul) Reingold, and special friends, Beth and Greg Faust, Ed and Susan Beasley, and Lynn and Paul Goris along with many special family and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 48 years, Shelley Bedore, and his parents.
Brian was a graduate of Napoleon High School. He married the love of his life, Shelley Crandall at Brookside Methodist Church in Vandercook Lake on August 4, 1973. Brian was very involved with his kids and their sporting events when they were growing up. He was also a fantastic Grandfather. Brian loved to entertain and have parties with friends and family. He also was a forever fan of the Detroit Lions and enjoyed watching Nascar. After retiring from Consumer’s Energy’s IT department, he found a new love in camping. Brian will be dearly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
