Brian Keith Canterbury Sr,'s Obituary
Age 59, of Leoni Township, passed away at his home March 19, 2018. He is survived by his mother, Mildred Canterbury, his daughter Elizabeth (Jerry Clark) Canterbury, Sons Brian (Kat) Canterbury Jr., Martin (Brianna) Burnett, grandchildren, Preston and Madison, siblings, Christina (Thomas) Ingram, Steve, Frank and David Canterbury, special nephews Rick, Ryan, Bobby, Robbie,Mark, Timmy, Stevie, Tommy, Kenny, David Jr., Dean, Bryant, James, Eric, David, special neices, Ashley, Jordan, Shannon, Kara, Mary Ellen, Robin, Sherry, Michele, Nikki and Terri, best friend, Blair Mclaughlin and ex wives, Elizabeth Schultz and Diane Miller. He was preceded in death by his father, Christopher, siblings, Christopher, Edward, Gene, Gerald, Ann, Mary Ruth, nephew Scott and cousin David Heidman. Brian will be most fondly remembered as a person who always made people laugh, even in times of sadness or remorse, and a kind soul who would give anyone the shirt off his back no matter what the circumstances were. Whether family, friend, or stranger, he brought the best out of us all and gave all of us his best. As a man of many hats, Brian formerly worked at General Motors, operated a cable/antenna installation business, and freelanced as a mechanic for anyone in need of repairs. In his free time, he enjoyed music, motorcycles, hunting and spending time with his Grandson, Preston. Services will be held at St. Aidan's Church (361 E. Grove, Michigan Center) Tuesday March 27, 2018 at 11 am with Pastor Larry Rubingh officiating. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Napoleon. Visitation will be held at the church Monday 2-4 & 6-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to his family to help defray final expenses.
