Brian Lee Wertzbar's Obituary
Age 45, of Jackson, passed away January 29, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Kathy E. (DeLong), three children, Kelsey (Ryan Piersall) Wertzbar, Cody Wertzbar and Karley Wertzbar, step-children, Kaitlyn (T J Miles) Bates and Courtney (Zoe Coe) Bates, parents, Gary and Linda (Hudson) Wertzbar, brother Scott (Timothy Phillippart) Wertzbar, several aunts, uncles and his special canine furball, Scrappy. Preceded in death by his grandparents, mother-in-law, Ellen E. DeLong and his furball friend Harley. He was employed at L. E. Warren Company and was a singer and bass player for many local bands. His first passion was for his children and family, followed closely by his love for music, sports and collecting sports cards. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #612, 301 Detroit Street, Jackson on Friday February 3, 2017 at 11 am with Mr. Hoss Stevens officiating. Cremation to follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday evening 5-8 pm and at the Eagles one hour prior to service time.
