Bruce Edward Greskowiak's Obituary
Bruce Edward Greskowiak, 74, of Brooklyn, MI, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Henry Ford Hospital. There will be no service per his wishes.
Bruce was born on November 16, 1951, in Detroit, MI, to Edward and Virginia (Smith) Greskowiak. He graduated from St. Mary’s Preparatory school in Orchard Lake, MI, and attended Wayne State University. He spent his career with Kroger, where he started as a meat cutter and advanced through hard work and dedication to high-level management. Bruce spent many years on the Board of Directors at Kemba Financial Credit Union. Bruce retired from Kroger after more than 50 years of service.
Bruce absolutely loved to work. He had a deep passion for remodeling, from the construction aspects all the way through to the design concepts. He loved the entire process and would remodel his own home as well as those of others. He also enjoyed reading, especially books about history, listening to music, and target shooting. Faith was an important part of Bruce’s life as a devout Catholic.
Bruce will be missed by his children, Denise (Kurt) Brown, Jeffrey (Sarah) Greskowiak, and Brian Greskowiak; his grandchildren, Madison and Hudson, children of Jeffrey and Sarah Greskowiak; his siblings, Steve (Sue) Greskowiak and Michele (Mark) Kosiara; his niece, Stacie (Joshua) McNulty and her two children, Jordan and Tristan; his nephew, Luke (Natalie) Greskowiak and his two children, Wesley and Vivian; his Uncle, John (Carol) Smith; his best friend, Darwin Mamassian; and many beloved extended family members and colleagues/friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Virginia Greskowiak.
