Carl Keith Horning's Obituary
Carl Keith Horning, Age 76, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2023. Carl’s family and friends will gather 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 6, 2023, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Michigan Center Chapel (Formerly Arthur-Day Funeral Home). His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with a gathering beginning at 10:00a.m. at the funeral home.
He was born on November 6, 1946, in Stockbridge, Michigan to Harold and Cleo (Ewing) Horning. Carl was a proud Navy Veteran. He married the love of his life, Sue, and they spent more than 56 years happily married. Carl enjoyed hunting and fishing, along with many other sports. He was very outgoing and enjoyed being around his friends and family. Carl especially loved being a grandpa and spending time with all of his grandkids. When Carl wasn’t with his family, he would be spending time with his friends in the Model A club, where he could show off his very own Model A.
Carl will be missed by his beloved Sue; his children, Matthew (Stefanie) Horning, Kristi (Terry) Weber and Mark Horning; his brother, Wayne Horning; grandchildren, Oswald Horning, Gavin Weber, Gabe Weber, Grant Weber and Grason Weber, Raven Horning, Wren Horning and Hawk Horning. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Katherine Withrow.
