Carol Lyn Aldridge's Obituary
Age 78, of Blackman Township, passed away February 3, 2020 at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. She is survived by seven children, David Aldridge, Donald (Anne Erven) Aldridge, Douglas Aldridge, Barbara (Jack Kirschnick) Hamilton, Christine (Wayne Squires) Aldridge, Darin (Theresa) Aldridge and Darell Aldridge; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her brother, Gary 'Butch' (Barbara) Holland and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Barbara (maiden-Braun) Holland and four siblings, Rosella Lowe, Marilyn Bing, Edward Holland and Dorothy Lapp. She cherished family gatherings and life events. Carol was selfless and a very thoughtful and caring mother to everyone she met. She also enjoyed playing Yahtzee and Scrabble, beating all comers. Mom (Carol) has been cremated. A Celebration of her Life, with time to reminisce and share stories over lunch/dinner will be held at Gene Davis and Sons Catering (3795 Francis Street) on Thursday February 6, 2020 from 1-5 pm. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Immanuel Lutheran Church Food Pantry (1505 W Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI 49202).
