Carol Jane Omo's Obituary
OMO (WIEMER), CAROL JANE Age 67, of Clarklake, entered the gates of Heaven, Tuesday, October 30, 2012. She was born, October 5, 1945 to Loyal H. ""Bud"" and Lola M. (Horton) Wiemer. She was married to Howard Glenn Omo May 5, 1979. Carol graduated from Groton HS in Groton, MA in 1963 and went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree from Judson College in Elgin, IL. She has been a member of Clarklake Community Church since 1963. She worked at both Columbia Township Office and Village of Brooklyn Office for a combined 40 plus years. She enjoyed surprising people with the unexpected, including the de-labeled canned foods for weddings and birthday presents that matched the recipients' years. Carol is survived by her son, Daniel Omo of Clarklake; and brother, Douglas (Susan) Wiemer of Toledo, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard and son, Mark. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Clarklake Community Church on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Noon. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. As per her wishes, it is asked that people wear something colorful and not black at her celebration. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mark Omo Memorial Scholarship Fund 2900 West Rd.
