Carol Johann Rannebarger's Obituary
Carol Johann Rannebarger, 84, passed away March 28, 2021. She was born on February 3, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan to Joseph and Edna (McIntire) Ballard. Carol married the love of her life, Floyd Rannebarger, on May 21, 1981, in Detroit, Michigan. Carol will be remembered as a woman who loved spending time in Plant City, Florida and adored reading, especially her John Grisham novels. She had fond memories of her time growing up with eight siblings, especially her time attending St. Anne’s school in Detroit. She spent many years as a realtor for Century 21 in the Detroit area and was a member of the AMVETS National Ladies Auxiliary.
Carol will be missed by her husband, Floyd; Debbie (Kevin) Tanner; Dan “Cricket” Milligan; Pam (Claus) Avedisian; Julie (Don) Mixner; Holly Rae (John) Brennan and many more nieces and nephews; along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by David Dixon and Kevin “Mickey” Rannebarger; her eight siblings; and her parents.
Carol’s family and friends will gather from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Eineder Funeral Homes - Brooklyn Chapel. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Eineder Funeral Homes Brooklyn Chapel. Deacon Chris Vida will serve as celebrant. COVID 19 protocols and social distancing guidelines will be observed. Memorial contributions may be given to family for future designation.
