Caroline "Carrie" J. Nelson's Obituary
Caroline "Carrie" June Nelson of Michigan Center passed away on December 11, 2020 at the age of 88 under the care of Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice and her loving family. Carrie was born January 28, 1932 to parents Carl and Lillian Ebright in Lansing, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry; daughters and son, Charlotte, Vicky, Penny, Debbie and Terry; grandchildren, Dustin, Richard and Mindy. She is survived by her sons, David (Sharon) Simons and Carl (Victoria) Simons; son-in-law, Ron Roebuck; stepchildren, David Pickett, Lisa (Joe) Nastally and Rick Nelson; several grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren. She was a long time member of Harmony Baptist church and loved serving her GOD. She also loved to work and spend time with family and friends. She is retired from Andy's Pizza in Michigan Center after 37 years. She loved taking long rides on a motorcycle and trips to Arizona. Visitation will be Tuesday December 15, 2020 from 5-7 pm at Arthur-Day Funeral home and a visitation Wednesday December 16, 2020 at 11am with the Service following at 12pm with Pastor Rod Walker officiating, both at Harmony Baptist Church, 6475 Ann Arbor Road, Jackson, MI 49201. Contributions in her memory are welcome to Harmony Baptist Church.
