Carolyn Joyce Worsham's Obituary
Age 84, of Leoni Township, passed away at her home under the loving care of her family and Great Lakes Caring Hospice February 2, 2015. She is survived by four children; Joseph Worsham, James (Jacqueline) Worsham, Thomas (Sandra) Worsham and Laurie Mathews, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, sister Dolores (John) Radford and brother Norm (Virginia) Smith, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John in 2005, parents; Guy and Ruth (maiden-Latson) Smith, brother Ronald Smith and sister Roberta Smith. Carolyn drove a school bus for East Jackson Schools for fifteen years and delivered newspapers for the Citizen Patriot for eighteen years. She had played softball, bowled, golfed and enjoyed watching NASCAR races and the Detroit Tiger Baseball games. Mrs. Worsham has been cremated. A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held at the funeral home Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 11 am with Pastor Jerry Bailey officiating. Visitation one hour prior to service time. Contributions in her memory are directed to the Great Lakes Caring Hospice or the Cascades Humane Society.
