Carrol Louis Berry's Obituary
Age 86, of Homer Township, formerly of Jackson and Sarasota, Florida, passed away at his daughter's home on Wednesday, July 6, 2022. He was born in Arkansas, the son of Audrey L. and Fern U. (Reeves) Berry. Carrol was a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was a retiree from the State of Michigan Forensic Center.
Carrol is survived by three daughters, Tammie (Hershel) Brown, Audrey (Richard) Milosh and Deborah (Bert) Hewitt; two sons, Walter (Karen) Berry-Rock and Christopher Berry-Rock; son-in-law, John Mulhollen; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, John Berry; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth in 2009; daughters, Tonya Berry and Loretta Lynn Mulhollen; his parents, Audrey and Fern and siblings, Tom and Jessie.
Carrol was a member of the Marine Corps League Cascades Detachment #149 in Jackson and member of AA for over 45 years.
Cremation has taken place and a Graveside Memorial Service with Military Honors will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI (15501 W. Dickman Road) on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Carrol and Ruth will be laid to rest together. (Plan on arriving at the cemetery between 2:35 pm and 2:50 pm)
