Chad Anthony Chamberlain's Obituary
Age 56, of Jackson, passed away in Perry County, Indiana on Saturday, September 24, 2022, the result of a motorcycle accident. Chad was born in Flint, Michigan on February 2, 1966, the son of Robert and Mary (Liell) Chamberlain.
Chad graduated from Flint's Kearsley High School and then joined the U.S. Army where he spent 6 years and followed with nearly 31 years with the Army National Guard, retiring as Master Sergeant with the 1461st Transportation Company. He was a member of the American Legion Richard F. Smith Post 29.
Chad was a truck driver with Aunt Millie's Bakery. He loved riding his motorcycles and also had a passion for classic cars.
Chad is survived by his wife, Deborah Lynn (Jentzen) Chamberlain; sons, Colby Anthony Chamberlain and Brennan Anthony Chamberlain; his brother, Daniel Wayne Gruber; sister-in-law, Kim Jentzen; nephew, Trevor VanBuren; niece, Alexa (Nick) Trojniak and their children, Roland and Oliver.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Katherine Gruber; step-father, Daniel John Gruber and his father, Robert Chamberlain.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service to honor Chad's life will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home in Michigan Center on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:00 am with American Legion Chaplain Don Moody and Kim Jentzen leading the services. The services will begin with honors from the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Interment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
