Charles Dale Neigebauer's Obituary
Age 82, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, formerly of Michigan Center, MI, passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at his home under the loving care of his family and Parkview Hospice. Dale is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Neigebauer; 9 children; 22 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sister, Janet (Eldon) Whiting. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Shirley Bondy and Marilyn Thomas; parents, Norman and Rebecca (Hanselman) Neigebauer. Dale served the Nation in the US Army and was a carpenter in the Jackson Local #1004. After retiring from the carpentry career, he and his wife owned and operated Eel River Campground in Churubusco Indiana for 12 years prior to settling in Fort Wayne to live out their golden years. Services will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home, 820 Fifth Street in Michigan Center on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Noon. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens with military honors given by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 pm and Friday beginning at 11 am.
