Charles Wayne Hamlin's Obituary
Age 79, of Napoleon Township, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Faith Haven Senior Care Centre. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon Kay (Bunting) Hamlin; two sons, Troy Hamlin and Chad (Linda) Hamlin; two grandsons, Ruger Hamlin and Rylan Hamlin; siblings, Freda (Elvin) Ellithorpe, William Hamlin, Wilma (Dan) Stevens, Paul (Clarice) Hamlin, Paulette Shaver and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ed Hamlin and his parents, Dee and Onia Mae (maiden-McFarland) Hamlin. Chuck served the nation in the US Army, Vietnam War, retired after a long and distinguished career as an agent/district manager for Farmers Insurance. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. Funeral Services will be held at Arthur-Day Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 2 pm with Pastor Donald R. Anderson of the Calvary Baptist Church, Jackson, MI officiating. Interment Roseland Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, November 15, 2021 from 6-8 pm. Contributions in his memory are directed to his grandsons Ruger and Rylan Hamlin Education Account in Chuck's memory at Flagstar Bank, 101 Broad Street, Michigan Center, MI 49254.
